Research Projects

This page hosts an overview of the core projects of the group. LASSEM has a cutting-edge position in the field of spin-optoelectronic properties of Ge-based architectures and has successfully addressed electronic and vibrational properties of SiGe heterostructures. Current resarch efforts encompass novel devices merging spintronics and photonics functionalities, infrared single photon detectors for Lidar and biomedical applications.
